Who is responsible
The app and this website are made by Evgeny Kuznetsov, a private individual based in Cyprus, who is the data controller under the GDPR. You can reach us at hello@enow.app.
What the app stores
For the app to work, your phone stores what you enter yourself:
- your name and answers to the three onboarding questions, if you gave them;
- hunger and fullness check-ins, meal type, hunger type, how you felt after eating, notes;
- food photos, if you add them;
- weight;
- completed exercises, lesson progress, test results;
- settings: language, weight unit, date format, reminders.
Some of these entries are about eating and weight and may say something about your health. That’s why the app is built so they never leave your phone.
Where the data goes
Nowhere. The app has no accounts and no servers. It doesn’t send your entries to us or anyone else, has no ads, analytics or crash reporting, and doesn’t track you across other apps or websites. The app works offline, and updates arrive only through the app store (App Store or Google Play).
Apple and Google show developers anonymous download statistics and crash reports from people who chose to share them in their phone settings. Apple and Google collect and process this data under their own policies.
Permissions
All permissions are optional: the app works without them, just without the related feature.
- Camera and photos are used only to attach a photo to an entry. The photo is saved inside the app, not in your photo library.
- Notifications are used for the reminder to check your fullness after eating. The reminder is scheduled on the phone itself, with no servers involved.
Backups
If iPhone backup is turned on (to iCloud or a computer), the app’s data is included in the backup along with other apps’ data. Apple manages that backup under its own rules, and we have no access to it. On Android, the app doesn’t take part in cloud backup.
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings → Delete all data. Entries, photos and settings are deleted from the phone immediately and can’t be recovered; reminders are cancelled. Deleting the app also erases all its data. Backups made earlier are kept under Apple’s rules until you delete them or they are replaced.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics, ads, or external fonts or scripts. It’s hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical request data: IP address, browser type and the page address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
Emails to support
When you write to us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply, don’t share them and don’t add you to any mailing list. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Emails are stored with our email provider. We delete the conversation once the issue is resolved and it’s no longer needed, or earlier if you ask.
Cloudflare and our email provider may process data outside the EU, including in the US. Such transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
The app’s data is in your hands: you can view, change and delete it right in the app. For support emails and website request data, you can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, or object to it. Just write to hello@enow.app.
You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country or in Cyprus (Commissioner for Personal Data Protection).
Age
The app is intended for people aged 13 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it on this page along with the date at the top. If a feature ever needs to send data, the app will explain beforehand exactly what is sent and where, and ask for your consent.
