How it works

At the heart of the app is a hunger scale from 1 to 10. Everything else helps you understand what’s behind the number.

Before eating

How hungry are you?

Before you eat, note your hunger from 1 to 10. Seven is “enough”: full, comfortable, satisfied. Below it is hunger, above it is more than your body needs.

Based on the number, the app suggests the next step: eat, figure out whether it’s really hunger, or switch to something pleasant.

After eating

How full are you?

30 minutes after you start eating, you get a reminder. Note your fullness and, if you’re still craving food, what you’re feeling. Every step can be skipped.

When you crave food

Hunger or not?

A craving isn’t always about hunger. For these moments, the home screen has its own entry point and three tools.

  • Four questions

Hungry, angry, lonely or tired? A one-minute HALT check.

  • Ride out the wave

A craving builds, peaks and fades. Usually within 10–15 minutes.

  • My alternatives

For the first 7 days, eat as usual and just note the numbers. During this time the scale has no colours and there are no tips yet. After the week, the app shows what it noticed.
